After an incredibly relaxing day at sea, we were ready for more adventures ashore! We made port in beautiful La Spezia, Italy on Day 4 of our cruise. We had some light breakfast at Cabanas before heading off the ship for the day. We did not book an excursion for this port. We woke up to some beautiful sunshine on our first day at sea! It was so easy to hop out of bed because we were excited to get to the activities for the day. The next day’s Navigator gets dropped off the night before so everyone has a chance to see what is planned and schedule their day accordingly! It’s embarkation day! We woke up nice and early to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel (and chatted with some nice Texans who had just gotten off their own cruise!), then we checked out and headed to the Rome Termini station. From there, we boarded the train to Civitavecchia which is where the cruise terminal is located. Disney offers transfers to the cruise terminal from the airport, but since we were already in the city we decided to just take the train.
